OL’BERTA is currently seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food service department, ensuring consistent and high-quality food preparation and presentation, as well as excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should thrive in a creative, fast-paced work environment and possess strong leadership skills.

DUTIES & CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, ensuring consistent and high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing training and support as necessary.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Manage inventory and ensure that food supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Address customer complaints and queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to the achievement of department objectives and exceed guest expectations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure that all workplace policies and procedures are adhered to.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a food service supervisor role or similar position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Food Safe Certification is mandatory.
  • WHMIS Certification is mandatory.
